Say hello to Bob! Bob was named for his short little "bobcat" tail that gives him a unique and adorable look. Bob was found abandoned outside of a shelter in a carrier. Attempts to find his owner were unsuccessful, so Bob is now on the hunt for a new family. Bob is an outgoing cat who likes attention, and is social and playful with both people and other cats. Bob has been with us for a few months while we figure out some medical needs he has. In this time, we have all gotten to know (and LOVE!) Bob quite well. Bob is a special need's kitty. He has the issue of incontinence, which is a result of his spine not fully forming en-utero, which has caused him to have no sensation in his hind end. In case you were wondering, kitty diapers ARE a thing! Bob will go home with his special diaper harness; the pads need to be changed several times a day. Greta is a young cat that has been through a lot lately. She was a feral cat that gave birth to a litter in her finder's roof. She is the mother of our "G" kittens; Gaia, Giana, and Geneva (they have all been adopted!). Greta is still adjusting to a domesticated life surrounded by people. For now, she will warn you away with hisses and swats. We discovered that she does enjoy being pet with a back scratcher; she is just not quite ready for real hands yet. We are confident that given time and space, Greta will learn that people are here to care for her and love her. Marnie is a striking black beauty with just a hint of Cattitude. She knows that her soft fur and stunning white whiskers will draw you in for pets, and Marnie will happily accept; for a little while at least! Onyx was found by a good samaritan and although he was a bit shy at first, he eventually let them hold and pet him while waiting to find his way to Home Fur Good! Sissy came from a feral cat colony. She was extra social and discovered to be pregnant! Sissy went into a foster home where she raised her kittens. She took a minute to adjust to shelter life and the Free Roaming Cat Room. But now, she is one of the first to greet visitors into the room. If you pick up a play wand, Sissy will be first in line to play. Sissy is one of the few that seems to enjoy all the activity of kitten season and all the young ones bounding about the cat room.
