Ashton is showing himself to be a love bug. He came to us from a home with too many other rescued animals; both he and Emilio came from a colony. Ashton, born in August 2023, was noted to be an active, happy cat who likes a lap to share. Also listed as good with other cats and maybe small dogs. He's still getting used to being in our cat room so he does give little hisses but will accept gentle pets. Next thing you know, he's just going all in for being petted and loved upon. Emilio is a wonderful cat. He's a big boy who leans in for pets and head scratches. He came to us from a home with too many other rescued animals; both he and Ashton came from a colony. Greta, a beautiful dilute tortie born 3/7/2021, has been through a lot. She was a feral cat that gave birth in the spring of 2023 to a litter of three in her finder's roof; all three of her kittens were adopted. Greta has been trying to adjust to a domesticated life surrounded by people and other cats. She will warn you away with hisses and swats, but we've discovered that she does enjoy pets with a back scratcher. But she is trying hard to trust enough to allow for human hands to show her affection. Kitten steps with building that trust! Greta does enjoy playing with wand toys; just check out her newest video!
