Home Fur Good Senior Support Program
Sponsored By: The Grey Muzzle Organization
We are actively seeking permanent foster homes for some of our senior long-timers!
You provide a loving home for them to live out their golden years, and we’ll cover the costs under the Home Fur Good Senior Support Program.
The Home Fur Good Senior Support Program covers costs associated with taking in senior dogs and rehoming them. The program will pay for vet visits, dental care, medications, prescription foods, and other necessary care to keep them thriving in your foster home.
We would love for these guys to find their homes!
Please call us at (602) 971-1334 or email info@homefurgood.org if you or someone you know is interested in learning more.
Allegra
Allegra is a 9-year-old, 53-pound APBT mix with a bright and engaging personality. Despite being deaf, she’s highly aware of her surroundings and excels at mental challenges, making her one of the quickest puzzle solvers at Home Fur Good. Allegra enjoys walks and responds well to hand signals for commands like sit, give paw, and wait. Although shelter life is challenging for her, causing occasional OCD behaviors, she quickly refocuses with redirection. Allegra would thrive as the only pet in a home where she can receive dedicated attention. She is available for adoption or permanent foster.
Bubba
Bubba is a lovable, 7.5-year-old, 92-pound pitbull mix with a big personality and a heart of gold. Despite his senior age, he’s active, enjoys long walks, and can even jog a few miles. Known for carrying stuffed toys on walks, Bubba delights in tearing them apart during playtime in the yard. He’s friendly with people and good with children, though a home with older kids and no other pets would be ideal. Bubba has some health needs, including regular ear cleaning due to past ear issues, which he handles well. Loyal and affectionate, he adores massages and melts into his human for love and attention. Bubba is available for adoption or permanent foster.
Zoey
Zoey is an 8-year-old, 53-pound American Pit Bull Terrier mix with a playful and spirited personality. She was previously adopted but returned due to a conflict with another dog. Zoey has since shed some weight and enjoys exploring during her walks, admiring scenery, and rolling around on various surfaces. In the yard, she loves jumping up to reach low tree branches. Zoey’s affectionate nature shines through her endless kisses, bringing joy and laughter to those around her. She is available for adoption or permanent foster.
Serena
Serena is a lovable, seven-year-old, 55-pound Shar Pei mix affectionately nicknamed “Land Hippo” for her rounded features and fondness for lounging in kiddie pools. Known for her happy-go-lucky and curious nature, Serena enjoys exploring business parks, admiring her reflection, and spending quality time with people. She’s not keen on other dogs and would thrive as an only pet. While she has some allergies, she’s on an effective treatment plan to keep her coat and health in top shape. Serena is ready to bring love, fun, and devotion to her future forever family.
