Volunteers (minimum age 16) are the backbone of our organization, and we can never have too many!
Volunteering with Home ‘Fur’ Good is easy, flexible, and essential to helping us complete our mission of finding ‘fur’ever homes for homeless animals.
Here are some of the numerous ways you can help:
- Animal Care & Socializing
- Adoption Counseling
- Fundraising
- Dog Walking
- Kitten Fostering (please email info@homefurgood.org for more details)
- Grant Writing
- Shelter Cleaning
- Office Helping
- Marketing
- Transporting
The number of hours you volunteer is up to you, and there are plenty of needs to fit any schedule.
If you’re interested in becoming a Home ‘Fur’ Good volunteer, please submit an application/waiver (see below) and attend one volunteer orientation class. Classes are held on the first Saturday of each month at 9:30am at the shelter.
Please see our calendar for the exact dates and times throughout the year.
We look forward to meeting you!
